This blog is meant to both document my struggles with weight loss and my accomplishments with running. I’m currently training for my first marathon (Disney World Marathon-January 12, 2014) and am working towards meeting my weight loss goals.
I’m a wife, a mother, and a slow mo runner. I started this journey in March of 2013 because I was tired of being an out of shape and “obese” mother. Since then, I’ve lost 30 lbs and dropped 6 pants sizes (size 16–> size 10). I’m not finished yet and this is my journey.
